Midlothian Residential Internet Coverage

Midlothian Texas holds a small community, with a population around 22,000. Given its small population and remote location in Texas, residents have very few options with internet providers.

Most residents in the area will only have access to AT&T home DSL services if they wish to not have fixed wireless services or satellite internet. They advertise speeds up to 75 Mbps, which is one of the fastest in the area.

Communities in the northwestern area of Midlothian, as well as certain communities in central Britton spreading to Ward, may not have access to these DSL services. This means that the only option for these areas is fixed wireless internet and satellite internet.

Fixed wireless internet companies providing full-coverage in the area include Nextlink, BelWave Communications and Legacy ISP. Cirra Network is also available, but only covers 50% of the Midlothian area.

HughesNet is the only provider for satellite internet in the area, boasting speeds up to 15 Mbps. However, they may seem slower for residents in particularly windy areas.

It could be a 5 star, but calling in is a pain. It takes for ever to get to Techs, and they can help you, but when you go else where, it is a headache. Speed goes up and down when too many people "suck data" from the Tower. No matter how long you have the dish, the price never drops, Prices could be less as staying with them doesn't mean much

I just got off the phone with AT&T robot ā€œcustomer disserviceā€ for (it) to tell me to reboot the modem and if the problem continues call back and we will pick up where we left off. This is after a viscious cycle of number pressing for 5 minutes. The second time I contacted the robot, it told me the same exact thing ā€œ...reboot and call back if you still have problems...ā€. So no progress has been made on our internet issue. A live person is nowhere to be found. Beyond dissatisfied. ā€œCustomer serviceā€ has deteriorated tremendously.

Horrible customer service. Argued for a week on installation. They kept saying our street does not exist. AT&T is installing service at the house next door. Customer service says not sure how thatā€™s possible, we will send our sales team out to validate if the street exist. This will take us 3 days.
