Oshkosh Residential Internet Coverage

Oshkosh is a college town and the eighth largest city in Wisconsin. Residents are blue- and white-collar with careers in office support and sales. They tend to be well-educated and middle class. They trust their internet services to help them achieve educational goals and connect with the community. Although just 86% of Wisconsin has access to high-speed internet, 100% of Oshkosh does.

Time Warner Cable provides cable internet to 100% of Oshkosh homes. An alternative to Time Warner is Charter whose cable internet services reach 10% of residents west of I-41. AT&T is the only DSL provider in the area, reaching 99% of residents. Another option for 71% of residents west of Lake Winnebago is copper wire from Northern Telephone and Data.

Businesses in Oshkosh have the same connection options as residents.

I've wasted a lot of hours trying to hook up another service at a different addreaslast night and during the process, my credit card was compromised. I also struggled with activating the tablet they convinced me to buy when I was just asking a question about what I need to do to set up services at a new address. They sent me a defective tablet. Now in order to return it, they are charging a $50 restocking fee and charged me $25 for something that isn't even working. I did a lot of running around and put hours into setting up everything and now I literally plan to take all services back, to go with a different company. I've had this tablet for a few weeks trying to trouble shoot it and now they wanna charge me another 50 for something that doesn't even work. I recommend going through TDS or a different service. The headache, frustration and inconvenience I've had to endure was not worth it. I hope this helps someone with their decision with who they want to go through.

My internet is ok, but they want to charge so much for an upgrade. The wifi stinks. My service is bundled in with the cable and a home phone that we barely use. All in all, I wish we had cheaper rates.
