Allen Residential Internet Coverage

Tucked into a cozy area just north of Dallas, the suburban city of Allen is a promising place for homeowners, business owners, and those who want the amenities of city living. This city is home to 82,000 people, and there are plenty of internet options available to those residing and working in this area.

Through Frontier FiOS, coverage is available in nearly all of Allen. The service map excludes the Forest Grove neighborhood in the northeast.

Continued service drops and notification by apps and streaming services of NO internet connection; worsening with time. Sold higher level plan (at higher cost) than was available in our neighborhood based on the technology at the time.

U-verse is horrid. Speed is slow, disconnects often, pixel-ated TV, especially during prime time. You'll regret it.

Frontier purchased Verizon in our area. The transition was difficult but we were patient to give Frontier a chance to do their job after all the changes. We pay for the highest speed internet and don't get even a quarter of the speed daily. The service is intermittent. The customer service is located overseas and is difficult to understand. I have been on the phone with them for over 5 hours in the last few months with no resolution. We are paying full price and they are not providing what they promised. We are disappointed and will be switching providers as soon as we can.
