Their service is terrible. Cannot stream video without pixelating and lag. Even music cuts out. I’ve never had such slow and bad service.

Hoped to have a better experience with cox after leaving them 10 years ago. Unfortunately, still thee act same issues today; I can never come nowhere near the speeds I pay for, in fact, not even half! I tried lowering my plan to match bill to the speeds and Cox even split the speeds in half as a result. There is no accountability with their service, it always “ sorry sir, it’s your equipment”, but it’s actually their equipment installed.

Cox has been good to me during my stay at Bella Terra Apartments in Vista. I rented a router and it was waiting at my doorstep on the day of my move in. Setting up the router on my own was pretty easy, but whenever I was confused, I got my answers pretty quickly by calling Cox or chatting with someone on their website. Removed half a star because the password I needed for setting up my router wasn't clear and I had to call to clarify where that password was hiding on my router's stickers. Other than that mild annoyance, Cox wifi has been great. I would totally go back to Cox the next time I have the option to. I'm moving to another part of Vista that doesn't get Cox coverage. So I'll just be returning my equipment to the Cox store in Oceanside and paying off any pro-rated usage.

Cox internet service has major stability issues in my area. The speed has never been consistent and has never met the advertised speed. They also have data caps that are ridiculous for a household with multiple people considering today's online streaming services.
